County’s Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Passed

I was pleased to vote in favor of County Executive Steuart Pittman’s Fiscal Year 2024 budget, along with Council Vice Chair Allison Pickard and Councilmembers Nathan Volke, Julie Hummer, Amanda Fiedler, and Lisa Rodvien. This budget, passed on June 14th, supports our school system and first responders and makes essential investments in our communities, like the Brooklyn Park Community Center and the Severn-Harman Pedestrian Network. Campaign Financing Fund

In early June, the Anne Arundel County Council passed the bill I introduced on behalf of County Executive Steuart Pittman. Bill 25-23 creates a Public Campaign Financing Fund for county council and county executive candidates. This is a small step toward leveling the playing field regarding campaign contributions.
