No matter who you are or where you are from, everyone agrees that education is the most foundational component of success. Anne Arundel County spends more than half of its budget on education. It’s why for me, as a priority, I will focus heavily on fine tuning our ability to fund education to maximize our ability to prepare our children for the 21st century. I want to enhance our ability to develop every option to educate our kids so that no one is left behind. Invest in technology so that our school system has the fluidity to transition from in class to remote seamlessly. Provide resources to create a competitive salary for teachers and staff.

I grew up an in environment safety was always on the forefront. It’s why citizens need to feel safe in order to thrive in their communities. I’ll prioritize public safety as a critical component to Anne Arundel County’s success by funding more personnel and adequately supporting those who protect and serve our communities while also implementing policies to remove those who don’t.

The greatest gift I was ever give was the ability to earn. This opportunity ensured I was capable of providing for my family and those I care about. District 1 has the largest job producing entities in the state with Fort Meade, NSA, Arundel Mills, Maryland Live and BWI airport creating opportunities for many. Ensuring small business have the ability to maneuver in this space will ensure their success and viability. When small businesses succeed, our county prospers.
