North County High School PTSA’s Fall Craft & Vendor Fair

Last month, I attended the Craft & Vendor Fair hosted at North County High School. The event was a success and it was great to talk with vendors and creatives about their work. It was such a good time and was a perfect opportunity to display the talent we have here in Anne Arundel and across the state.

Thank you to NCHS’s PTA for holding this event and congratulations on a successful event!

Election Results 2024

Last week, millions of voters here in Maryland cast their ballots for elective offices, including the Senate, the House, and the Presidency. In Maryland, we saw history being made. Angela Alsobrooks, current Prince George’s County Executive, won her election and will be the first black woman to represent Maryland in the Senate. Angela is a doer who has consistently exhibited a dedication to the people and a relentless spirit. I look forward to watching her lead in Washington and advocate for all of us.

Anne Arundel’s own Senator Sarah Elfreth won her election in Maryland’s third congressional district. In 2018, Sarah was the youngest woman ever elected to the State Senate, and she quickly built a reputation as an effective legislator, passing 91 bills on issues that impact Maryland families. I look forward to watching her continue her work protecting the Chesapeake Bay, strengthening the economy, expanding life-saving prenatal care, and helping veterans living with PTSD.

I anticipate big things from Senator-elect Alsobrooks and Representative-elect Elfreth and wish them well in their next chapters.
